Another one of the inspiring people that were on my personal “to-meet-list” has died today. The world loses one of brightest innovators whithout whom we would not live in the world we live in. My condolences to everyone who knew and loved him.
I found it so amazing to see where we are at and what is possible today. The one sentence that struck me most is the view-changing statement of one of the guys in this clip. He points out that evolution brought us so far, but who says it is the end of the line…. Made me ponder and see things in a completely different light….
Hey there! I usually don’t do that, but Dropbox has made my life so much easier and I am in love with their service. I am convinced that you should also try it. It’s free and makes so many things so much easier. You can use it in many ways. It could replace your flash-drive, you could use it as a way to share (even large) files or photos with friends or you can share folders with other people and automatically get the files they upload on their computers synced onto your computer. The best thing about it: You don’t have to do anything special to upload or sync files: The dropbox software will create a “magic” folder (or use an existing one) on your computer - this folder represents your “hard-drive in the cloud”. Everything in that folder will automagically be synced to the internet. Redundancy and security features are also stunning. You need to check it out for yourself though. If you sign up through this link you will also get not only 2 gig of free Space, but an extra 250 megs.
